Days 1 – 2 | Dar es Salaam (1 Night)
Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport and transfer to the Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam, where you’ll relax after your international flight. Depending on your arrival, enjoy the hotel pool, sample fine dining, or explore the vibrant coastal city.

Days 2 – 5 | Ruaha National Park (3 Nights at Kigelia Camp)
Fly by light aircraft to Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest and most dramatic reserve. With sweeping baobab-studded landscapes, Ruaha is home to large elephant herds, impressive predator populations, and diverse ecosystems at the crossroads of East and Southern Africa.

Stay at Kigelia Camp, a six-suite tented safari camp set along a dry riverbed. Days are filled with Big 5 game drives, guided walks, and bush breakfasts. With so few visitors, Ruaha offers a truly wild safari — where lions, leopards, and elephants roam undisturbed.

Days 5 – 9 | Nyerere National Park (4 Nights at Sand Rivers Selous)
From Ruaha, fly into Nyerere National Park, the world’s largest protected wildlife area. Your base is Sand Rivers Selous, a riverside lodge perched above the mighty Rufiji River.

Here you’ll enjoy a variety of activities: traditional game drives, walking safaris, and unique boat excursions, where hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife thrive. For the adventurous, optional fly-camping is available — a night under canvas in the heart of the wilderness.

Sand Rivers offers spacious open-fronted suites with panoramic river views, an infinity pool, and dining under the stars, blending luxury with a raw sense of Africa’s wild beauty.

On your final day, transfer to Kiba Airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam.
