Serengeti Stopover Resort

Serengeti Stopover Lodge is a safari lodge located near the western entrance of Serengeti National Park, approximately one kilometre south of Ndabaka Gate. Its position along the Mwanza–Musoma road makes it a practical accommodation choice for travellers entering or leaving the Serengeti through the Western Corridor, particularly those combining the park with Mwanza and Lake Victoria.

The property offers simple, self-contained accommodation inspired by traditional Sukuma-style architecture. Guest rooms are housed in individual rondavels and have private bathrooms with hot showers. The lodge also provides a restaurant, bar and outdoor areas where guests can relax before or after travelling through the Serengeti.

Unlike many tented camps located deep inside Serengeti National Park, Serengeti Stopover Lodge’s main advantage is accessibility. It works particularly well as an overnight stop before entering the park through Ndabaka Gate or after completing a safari through the Western Serengeti.
