4 Past Travellers Share Their Tanzania Safari Stories with iArtist Adventure
Even though Tanzania is renowned for the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro and the sprawling Serengeti plains, the country offers a range of safari experiences found nowhere else on Earth. Witness the Great Migration across the Serengeti, explore the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, or relax on the white-sand beaches of Zanzibar.
Don't just take it from us—here are four past iArtist Adventure travellers sharing their unforgettable journeys through Tanzania with bespoke itineraries crafted just for them:
1. Custom Family Safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara
‘Wow! What an incredible adventure in Tanzania that iArtist Adventure curated for our family. Initially, I worried that keeping our two teenagers entertained during a 10-day safari would be a challenge, but thanks to the seamless planning, everything was perfect. From our first flight into Arusha to our final departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport, everything ran smoothly without any stress.
Our first stop was the iconic Serengeti National Park. We stayed in a luxurious tented camp where we could hear lions roaring at night and watch zebras grazing from our private deck. Our guide, Joseph, was so knowledgeable and patient, ensuring we spotted the Big Five and even rare cheetahs on the prowl.
A highlight was the sunrise hot air balloon safari—floating above the endless plains while thousands of wildebeest moved beneath us was simply magical. Breakfast in the bush after our flight was an experience we'll never forget.
Ngorongoro Crater was next. We were blown away by the sheer density of wildlife. We encountered a black rhino just meters away and enjoyed a scenic picnic at the crater floor while observing a pride of lions lazing in the sun. The lodge, perched on the crater rim, provided breathtaking views and impeccable service.
Our final stop was Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife, we also enjoyed a cultural visit to a local Maasai village where we learned about their traditions and daily life. This personal connection was deeply meaningful for our family.
Thank you, iArtist Adventure, for creating lifelong memories for our family. We will undoubtedly return!’
