Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

The safari guide from Full Package Adventures in Arusha will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. From the airport, your guide will transfer you to Arusha Planet Lodge, where you relax for the rest of the afternoon, enjoy your overnight stay, and prepare for the next day’s adventure. If you have time, you can explore the city with our guide without any charges.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from Arusha Planet Lodge and transfer you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you to Marera Valley Lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. The Tarangire River is the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. You may even see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above.

Day 3 – 4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive while carrying a lunch box and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp. You will spend the following day inside the park on game drives.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great herds of migrating zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 5: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30,000 large mammals are resident all year round, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Day 6: Transfer to Arusha Airport and flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, spend some time at the lodge for relaxation and leisure, and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town to do some shopping. From here, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your air transfer to Zanzibar. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

Day 7: Stone Town Tour and Transfer to Smiles Beach Hotel

Program: After breakfast, we take a full-day Stone Town tour with our local guide. After finishing the day’s activities, we will transfer you to your beach hotel.

Admire the narrow streets lined with residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes. Exquisitely carved doorways identify the themes with metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Side by side, you will see churches and mosques. The churches are due to the colonial presence in the country and the mosques commissioned by the sultans of Zanzibar. You will also visit other exciting destinations in the town.

Day 8 – 9: Relax at Zanzibar Beach and Resort

These two days are spent in Zanzibar at your leisure. Use your time to relax on the beach and at the resort. Discover Zanzibar’s best beaches, each offering spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Walk on the palm-fringed beaches and swim in the turquoise waters while you feel the white sand under your feet. Explore the marine life, and look for the colorful coral reef fish, green turtles, different fish species, snails, sea cucumbers, and many others.

Day 10: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport

Enjoy the last few hours before you depart from the resort. We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, ready for your air transfer back home or to another destination. The drop-off at the airport marks the end of our services.
