You fly from Zanzibar to Arusha and drive a route taking in Tarangire’s elephants, Lake Manyara’s tree-climbing lions and flamingos, the wildlife-packed Ngorongoro Crater, and the soda flats of Lake Natron beneath Ol Doinyo Lengai.
It’s a varied trip — big game, birdlife, and Maasai culture — at a comfortable pace. Flights, vehicle, lodges, meals, park and crater fees, and your guide are included.
5-Day Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro & Lake Natron from Zanzibar takes you through Tanzania's most celebrated national parks. Each day is a different landscape, a different wildlife encounter.

How does a safari from Zanzibar work?
You fly by light aircraft from Zanzibar to an airstrip near the park, game-drive with your guide, and fly back to the coast — so you keep your beach base and still see Tanzania’s wildlife.
-
Are the flights included in the price?
Yes. The return light-aircraft flights between Zanzibar and the safari airstrip are part of the package, along with park fees, transfers, and meals as listed.
-
Can I add this safari before or after a beach stay?
Yes — most guests combine it with a Zanzibar holiday. We can book your beach nights and slot the safari in seamlessly.
-
Can I customise the itinerary?
Absolutely. Swap parks, add nights, or upgrade the lodges. Tell us what you want to see and we build it around you.
-
What animals will I see?
The northern parks are strong for the Big Five and big cats; the southern parks (Mikumi, Nyerere/Selous) add elephants, hippos, and wild dogs. Sightings vary by season and luck.
-
What is the best time to go?
The dry season (July–September) is prime for wildlife, and December to mid-March is also excellent. We advise on the calving and migration timing if that’s your focus.
