Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti
Travel to the Serengeti by scheduled flight or private road transfer, depending on the confirmed program. If arriving by air, meet your guide at the airstrip and begin an immediate game drive into the wilderness. If traveling by road, cross the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands before entering the Serengeti in the afternoon. Settle into camp and continue wildlife viewing at your own pace, taking advantage of the remaining light for game drives as conditions allow.

Day 2: Full day in the Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park with your private guide, following wildlife movements and seasonal patterns to maximize viewing opportunities. You may opt for an early start with a relaxed midday break at camp, or remain in the field with a picnic lunch in a scenic location. The route is adjusted in real time based on current wildlife reports, water availability, and responsible viewing conditions to ensure a rewarding and well-paced safari experience throughout the day.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Begin the morning with a final game drive in Serengeti National Park, taking in last sightings across its vast plains before departing toward the Ngorongoro region. The journey continues through the shifting landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where open savannah gradually gives way to volcanic highlands. A visit to Olduvai Gorge may be included depending on timing and site opening conditions. Arrive at your highlands lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and panoramic views over the surrounding landscape.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha
Descend early into Ngorongoro Crater for a final private game drive across its diverse habitats, including open grasslands, natural springs, acacia woodland, and wetlands. The crater offers excellent opportunities to observe resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and, conditions permitting, the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch at a designated site, ascend the crater wall and continue your journey back to Arusha for your hotel drop-off or onward travel connection.

Yes, but a fifth day is recommended. Adding Tarangire inside four days would reduce meaningful Serengeti time.
