Lion’s Paw Camp

Lion’s Paw Camp is a luxury tented safari camp positioned on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Surrounded by red thorn acacia forest, the camp enjoys panoramic views toward the crater and is approximately a ten-minute descent from the crater floor. This location gives guests excellent access for early-morning Ngorongoro game drives.

Operated by Karibu Camps and Lodges, Lion’s Paw combines the atmosphere of a small safari camp with a considerably higher level of comfort. Accommodation includes executive double, twin and family tents with private bathrooms, private verandas, heated blankets and thoughtful cold-weather touches suited to the cool conditions of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
