Legendary Serengeti Camp was a luxury mobile tented safari camp created around the seasonal movements of the Great Migration. Rather than operating from a single permanent location, the camp moved between different parts of the Serengeti ecosystem, positioning guests closer to important wildlife areas as the migration progressed through the year.
The original operation consisted of two mobile camps. Each had eight en-suite safari tents and one family tent containing two en-suite bedrooms and a shared lounge. The camps were arranged in separate sections, each with its own lounge and dining facilities to create greater privacy.
The Legendary safari portfolio has since evolved. The former Legendary Serengeti Camp concept has been replaced by newer properties within the Legendary Expeditions and Auberge Safari collection, including Songa and Nyasi in the Northern Serengeti.
Legendary Serengeti Camp did not have one permanent location. Historical operating schedules positioned the camps in: Lamai – Northern Serengeti Wogakuria – Northern Serengeti Nyasirori – Western Serengeti Maswa – Southern Serengeti ecosystem
